News NANOMMUNE Project Coordinator awarded prize, May 16, 2011 Professor Bengt Fadeel, Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, and documentary filmmaker Stefan Jarl have been awarded the 2011 Environmental Medicine Prize by the Swedish Cancer and Allergy Foundation. Professor Bengt Fadeel is awarded the prize for “outstanding and internationally acclaimed research in the field of environmental medicineand in particular for bringing attention to the risksand medical opportunities of nanotechnology”. The prize is SEK 500 000.
